How Design BHK Scaled Output with Prolance

We spoke to Madhavan, Founder of Design BHK, a company that works on turnkey interior projects. For a little background, DesignBHK had an inhouse design team. One of their main problems was designer attrition along with issues related to procurement and client traction. Vendor runs, material selection and client approvals were done manually, consuming considerable time and energy. Then came the real bottleneck of execution. The dependency on local factories that were not skilled enough caused issues with meeting timelines, quality and the final output.

Prolance automated all of the above and made “life easier”, in their words. The processes got streamlined, became error-free and less reliant in terms of grunt work. Thus saving time and speeding up the entire job. Mr Mahdavan was also very happy with the clarity that platform gave right from the design phase up until the budgeting. The transparency on design modules, cost of materials and finishes are all great advantages and helped keep the client happy too.

Being a design to manufacturing platform, Prolance eliminated the need for manual cutlists, which earlier ate up most of DesignBHK’s bandwidth, leaving room for errors. Prolance made it easy to keep a check on whether costs were being overshot or not. All this paired with meeting delivery timelines added great value for DesignBHK, which eventually helped them expand and scale the entire business!
